Washington
In Washington State, all aspects of the sex trade —whether selling sex, buying sex, promoting it, or profiting from it—are completely illegal. Washington has distinct laws for purchasing sexual services (patronizing) and selling sexual services (prostitution). Washington’s vacatur law allows survivors to vacate low level (misdemeanor) convictions related to their trafficking.
