In Utah, all aspects of the sex trade —whether selling sex, buying sex, promoting it, or profiting from it—are completely illegal. Utah has distinct laws for purchasing sexual services (patronizing) and selling sexual services (prostitution). Utah’s vacatur law allows survivors to clear their records of certain low level nonviolent offenses related to their trafficking.
