Tennessee
In Tennessee, all aspects of the sex trade —whether selling sex, buying sex, promoting it, or profiting from it—are completely illegal. Tennessee has distinct laws for purchasing sexual services (patronizing) and selling sexual services (prostitution). Tennessee’s vacatur law allows survivors of trafficking to clear convictions that occurred “as a result” of trafficking, but only applies to non-violent offenses.
