William C. Silverman is a Partner at Proskauer Rose LLP where he is head of the firm’s pro bono program. Bill serves as counsel to the New York State Anti-Trafficking Coalition and is Chair of the Fund for Modern Courts, a non-profit organization devoted to court reform in New York State. Before entering private practice, Bill served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York and as a law clerk to the Honorable Louis L. Stanton, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York. Bill received his B.A. from Brown University and his J.D. from New York University School of Law where he was an editor of the Law Review.
