Katie Feifer brings more than a decade of activism and nearly forty years of research and facilitation experience to bear on gender-based violence and other human rights issues. Katie has a unique public-private sector history. She was formerly a Vice President at Leo Burnett, one of the country's most respected communications firms. She has spent the last 23 years as an independent consultant for a long list of Fortune 500 companies engaged in qualitative research, strategic planning, and meeting facilitation.
Katie’s ongoing non-profit work includes serving for over a decade as Research Director of The Voices and Faces Project, an award-winning storytelling project created to bring the names, faces, and testimonies of gender-based violence survivors to the attention of the public, and chairing the Leadership group of CounterQuo, a national coalition focused on challenging and changing media and legal responses to sexual violence. A believer in thinking globally and acting locally, Katie has served since 2003 as a rape victim advocate in San Diego. Through her company Facilitate Gender Justice, Katie facilitates World Without Exploitation convenings and engages with a variety of social justice-seeking organizations to work on their strategic planning, problem solving, and ideation.
