Katie Cappiello is the writer and director of numerous plays exploring issues of sexuality and gender, including SLUT and Now That We’re Men. A theater teacher for 18 years, she has lectured on the importance of fusing arts and activism at The National Museum of Women in the Arts, The Brooklyn Museum, The US Department of State, Google and high schools and colleges across the country. Katie is the Founder of GoodCapp Arts, a NYC youth theater ensemble that focuses on social justice. She is the Creator/Executive Producer of the Netflix original series, Grand Army, which debuted in October 2020.
