Mike Vlacich has over 25 years of experience in public policy, administration and government at every level. A principal at Cornerstone Government Affairs, Mike came to Cornerstone as a Presidential appointee from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), where he served as a regional administrator, overseeing SBA programs, offices, and operations in the SBA’s New England region. Mike is a respected public servant with extensive economic development, policy and constituent service experience at the nonprofit, local, state and federal government levels. Prior to his SBA role, he served as a Campaign Manager, Senior Advisor and State Director to U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH). He has also previously served as President and CEO of the New Hampshire College and University Council, State Director for U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Director of the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development and Deputy Chief of Staff to New Hampshire Governor John Lynch. He also ran several other winning statewide political campaigns, a NH presidential campaign, and a state party organization.
Mike is a first-generation American and the first in his family to attend college, graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1995.
